Jennifer West-Gavin, PsyD


    Jennifer West-Gavin, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and formally trained pediatric neuropsychologist. Her areas of specialty include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, learning disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disability, developmental delays, and a range of other neurocognitive disorders. Dr. West-Gavin has experience performing evaluations across the lifespan, specifically with infant/toddlers through adulthood. She utilizes a wide range of standardized neuropsychological measures, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2). In addition to providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, she provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and utilizes animal-assisted therapy.

    Dr. West-Gavin completed her undergraduate education at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and earned a graduate degree from Rowan University. She subsequently received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her internship and post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Center for Neurological and Neurodevelopmental Health (CNNH).

    Furthermore, she is an adjunct professor at Temple University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and has presented to community populations regarding educational and mental health topics.

    Prior to her graduate training, she worked in a community-based residential program for children and adolescents with comorbid disorders, including Autism and intellectual disabilities. During that time, she witnessed the various challenges faced by children and their families, and was greatly inspired to help individuals reach their full potential.
