In this webinar, Dr. Kurlan will be discussing the medications that are commonly prescribed, those prescribed in the past and still used today as well as medications new to the market.
Dr. Kurlan obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He did his residency in Neurology and a Fellowship in Movement Disorders and Clinical Neuropharmacology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He remained as a faculty member at the University of Rochester from 1984 to 2009. He is recognized internationally for his clinical and research expertise in neurological movement disorders. He is a founding member of the Parkinson Study Group and founding and current leader of the Tourette’s Syndrome Study Group, collaborative international research groups that conduct large-scale investigations. Dr. Kurlan currently is at the Center for Neurological and Neurodevelopmental Health (CNNH) in Voorhees and Rutherford, NJ where he continues his clinical care and research.
